Delivery & Collection

At Dan Fitzgeralds we are happy to offer home delivery for all online orders, as well as a free Click & Collect option at our store in Tralee. Please see details of each service outlined below.

Home Delivery

Delivery Policy

Please note the last date for orders to guarantee pre-Christmas delivery is 18th December 2024.

We really appreciate people supporting lrish owned business at this busy time of year.  Hope you are all safe and well.  We are still operating as normal so we are continuing to receive orders and will be dispatching all orders as usual. Due to the virus and the busy Christmas period, delays maybe experienced in the courier delivery service and we ask our customers to bear with us.  We will continue to reply to any customer queries within our business opening hours, Monday-Saturday 9.30am - 6:00pm.   If you have any questions please contact us at or by phone on 066 7122782.

Goods are shipped using a courier service and will be delivered within 2-5 working days (not including the day on which the order was placed). Products are subject to availability. We endeavour to deliver to the times specified, however on rare occasions delays occur which are outside of our control. If your ordered product is not available we will contact you with an expected delivery date. Please note that items sold online will only be delivered to the address specified on your order.

  • Deliveries are made Monday to Friday between 9am and 6pm, excluding bank holidays.
  • If necessary, multiple items may be delivered in more than one parcel and at different times.
  • Deliveries may be delayed due to adverse weather conditions or other events beyond our control.

Delivery Charges

Republic of Ireland & Northern Ireland:

Free delivery applies to all orders with a value of €65.00 or more for delivery within the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland. Otherwise, delivery is charged at €5.50 irrespective of the number or the type of items. All Gift Vouchers are delivered in line with delivery charges.

Other Delivery Locations:

Delivery rates to all other locations world-wide are available on request. You can contact us by email or call +353 (0) 66 7122782. In addition, orders dispatched directly to destinations outside the European Union (EU) are exempt from Value Added Tax (VAT) subject to certain terms and conditions set by the Irish tax authorities. In this context, certain territories (for example, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands) are regarded as outside the EU. Please note that such orders may be subject to tax in the destination country and we recommend that customers check with their local customs office in this regard. All prices on this website are inclusive of VAT at 23%.

Status of Delivery

We will email you on receipt of your order to acknowledge receipt. We will also email you once you order has been dispatched. Once your order is dispatched you will receive an email containing your tracking ID number.

If you are not available to accept delivery, the courier will leave a calling card to advise that delivery has been attempted (please follow the instructions on the calling card). Please note that the courier may leave your parcel with a neighbour, or a secure location, and you will be advised of this on the calling card.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will notify you immediately and backorder the item for you. You will always have the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. A confirmation will be sent to you when the item is back in stock again.

Click & Collect

Collect Your Order In-store

We are delighted to offer a complimentary order collection service in-store service. This service is offered for your convenience, simply select the option I'll Collect My Order (during store hours).   Click & Collect arrangement during lockdown periods are from our store, Monday - Friday between 9.45am - 5pm.  We will continue to reply to any customer queries within our business opening hours, Monday-Saturday 9.45am - 5:00pm.   If you have any questions please contact us at or by phone on 066 7122782.

Dan Fitzgeralds process your order online and we will have your package ready for collection at our store within 24 hours of order.

When you have paid for your order online, we will send you a confirmation email to confirm that your order has been placed successfully. Your order will be ready for collection 24 hours after your order has been placed.

When you visit us to collect your purchase, please bring your confirmation email, the credit card which was used as payment along with photographic identification, we will accept your driver's license or passport. We are also happy to view confirmation emails on smart phones or tablets if not in printed format.

What times can I collect my order?

You may collect your purchase from the Drapery & Gifts Department on the ground floor during shop opening hours:

  • Monday – Saturday 9:30am- 6:30pm (Excluding Bank Holidays)

Can I return my purchase on the day of collection instore?

If you decide that your purchase is not suitable you may return it instore. It is our policy to refund in the original form of payment, so we will organise a refund to the credit card which was used as payment. It is also our policy to issue a receipt for all refunds. This does not affect your online returns policy which allows you 14 days from date of receipt to return.

Can I try on my purchase instore?

We have comfortable and spacious fitting rooms in store if you would like to try on your purchase.
